Happy Arrival Day!
I've called this country my home for 21 years now, by US cultural standards the number is significant and connotes the finality of adolescence. So I'm done growing, right?
In fact I think most of my conscious growing, the growth that is intent and has a specific purpose, begins now. The choice I make are swayed and controlled by actual reasoning (sound or not), rather than an influx of hormones or whatever biological hoopla occurred during teenage years. I think this is when I begin to live in the actual parameters of what it means to live (a vast range of extremes, so big that the word "parameters" dwarfs the substantiality of its variety--maybe that is not the right word...).
So I start here. A new chapter starts.
And now I'm late for class...
