I recently connected with a close friend from my FTH trip, Rae Anne. We spoke about being home and how displaced we both feel. In passing I asked for her jewelry website address -- artists are always curious people! I visited the site and I must say I am IN LOVE with her work. Not only are her pieces affordable, but they are b-e-a-utiful! And what's more, these are handmade creations by a fellow Korean-American adoptee! So, I'm showing my adoptee support and giving her a plug on my blog.
Hi! I'm Peter and thanks for stopping by to read my inner, most personal thoughts about adoption. I was adopted from South Korea to the US in 1989. Since then I have had both the greatest and darkest time struggling to establish my identity as an adoptee, as a Korean, as an American, as a person missing one big piece of the puzzle: where do I come from? I take this journey "Seoul-o," although I am sure I am not alone.
