So, I am rolling the ball that is, "Visit Seoul in August." It's moving slowly. I have to do a lot of research and convincing (or my parents mainly, that I am in fact capable of traveling alone). In preparation I am sending out a request to ALL KOREAN ADOPTEES:
Have you been back to the "mother country"? What are some must-see/do things in or around Seoul? What was your experience like from one adoptee to another?
Send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Hi! I'm Peter and thanks for stopping by to read my inner, most personal thoughts about adoption. I was adopted from South Korea to the US in 1989. Since then I have had both the greatest and darkest time struggling to establish my identity as an adoptee, as a Korean, as an American, as a person missing one big piece of the puzzle: where do I come from? I take this journey "Seoul-o," although I am sure I am not alone.
